After we visited the train station in Hua Hin, we drove to Monkey Mountain. In Thai, it is known as Khao Takiab mountain. This mountain is called monkey mountain for a reason… there were so many monkeys! If you have never run across a Thai monkey before… they are honestly quite scary. They are fairly harmless… unless you do something to anger them. Or if you are holding any type of food or drink… they will literally steal it out of your hands. So you just need to be cautious around the monkeys.
But Monkey Mountain also features the Khao Takiab Temple, which was neat to climb up to see, as you got a great view that overlooked Hua Hin and the Gulf of Thailand. This was a very cool place to be.
